Original PlayStation memory card icons are really small — only 16 pixels square! That’s awfully tiny for today’s screens so I’ve created 2 versions of each icon: one at 32 pixels that is closer to the original size and a much larger one at 256 pixels
FUN FACT
It’s the game to blame for why the Dynasty Warriors titles never match up between Japan and North America! This fighting game was released in Japan as Sangoku Musou, roughly translated as Warriors of the Three Kingdoms. The PlayStation 2 sequel that would set the series’ naming convention was known as Shin Sangoku Musou, or basically NEW Warriors of the Three Kingdoms.
In the West, Koei chose to stick with the Dynasty Warriors name and simply starting adding numbers from there. That’s why, to this day, the English Dynasty Warriors series outnumbers the Japanese original: Shin Sangoku Musou 8 in Japan is known as Dynasty Warriors 9 everywhere else. Truly a lifelong point of confusion
