Original PlayStation memory card icons are really small — only 16 pixels square! That’s awfully tiny for today’s screens so I’ve created 2 versions of each icon: one at 32 pixels that is closer to the original size and a much larger one at 256 pixels

Tecmo went above and beyond on the 32-bit debut of the venerable arcade football franchise and somehow took the crown for King of Memory Card Icons (so far)! All 30 NFL teams from the 1996 season are represented on the game’s randomly assigned icons. Not only are the most intricate flourishes of the team logos boiled down to pixel scale, they even capture the unique facemask colors and helmet designs. I am just infinitely impressed by the dedication on such a small detail
