Tony Hawk’s Skateboarding (EU)
What am I seeing here?

Original PlayStation memory card icons are really small — only 16 pixels square! That’s awfully tiny for today’s screens so I’ve created 2 versions of each icon: one at 32 pixels that is closer to the original size and a much larger one at 256 pixels
FUN FACT
You might not expect it but the entire Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater series made good use of the memory card, offering a unique icon for saving career progress, replay footage, and user-created skate parks. While only a single memory card block is required to save your game progress, you could easily dedicate entire cards to each title if you wanted to save highlights of your best runs or really got into making custom skate parks; those alone required 3 blocks each.
Of special note here on the inaugural entry is the rebranding of the game’s name for Europe as Tony Hawk’s Skateboarding. All future titles would fall in line with the Pro Skater naming convention. Surprisingly, Activision didn’t go so far as to change the memory card icon for the European version and it still reads ‘THPS’ which might have been confusing to some players unfamiliar with the North American name.
